I'm sorry, you will experience. As I sit here today shaking their legs to defend not the frightening impression that I find myself.
For some reason, can make RLS worse, serious sport for some people. As people respond, it looks like RLS. There are a lot of misinformation on the Internet, so that what you read with a grain of salt. No treatment can get, but what really helps, as you brought up, because many doctors are not educated about this .... or think bad things.
For some people, medication is not required. For others it is. Only you can decide which compromise both his life and his dream. I managed for years without medication, but eventually became common enough that I was always tired, rarely getting enough sleep. If you do not fall asleep and sleep is not interrupted, you can live with it for now. If you try to live with it without drugs, is the site of SPI rebels - I think it RLSrebel.com, but the search for rebels RLS If this does not work.
So even if Iu do not need or want the product, consider reading about it. The RLS Foundation is a great source of information and has a very good panel discussion, someone mentioned, but rls.org in the case.
One thing to do now, ask your doctor to monitor the level of ferritin. This is not the same as a test for anemia (anemia, if you could be part of the problem), but tests to see that stores like iron. People with RLS often have a value below 50 Most doctors now imagine that your RLS ferritin at least 50 and even better when the 100th For part of the population, increased ferritin RLS will completely disappear.
If you decide you need medication, should be one of the two books (or both). One is the clinical management of SPI and the other is simply called "Restless Legs Syndrome. Both are doctors and has written book Furer Hening. Helped Dr. Kushida and Dr. Lee (I think) contributed to another. This will help you and your doctor, better decisions.
Good luck.
